The Beach Ambassadors are ready to hit the sand for summer! Training was held on Friday, May 15, with a fabulous and enthusiastic group eager to proudly represent our Last 12 Miles.

Special thanks to our fantastic speakers—Edward Ponton, Sheriff Mike Corbell, Lisa Hurley, Tina Wettingel, and the NBPA team—who shared helpful insights on beach safety, driving tips, turtle protection, dark sky initiatives, and visitor FAQs to help promote a safe and enjoyable beach experience.

You’ll see our NBPA Beach Ambassador tents set up in Swan and Carova beginning June 7 and continuing through September 7, Sunday through Wednesday.

NEW SUNDAY HOURS

You asked...We delivered! The "in-season" Sunday hours have been extended! The dump will now be open on Sundays from 7AM-7PM startrting May 17th through September 13th.

NBPA POOL FLOAT DONATION DRIVE

Most visitors don’t realize that home rental companies are required to dispose of pool floats between guest turnovers—meaning they are popped and thrown away after only limited use.

NBPA is launching a reuse program to help change that. We’ll collect your gently used pool floats and make them available free to visitors through the Beach Ambassador Program.
