SOUP-UP SUCCESS
Thank you to everyone who came out to our Soup Up for Spring community event! The March winds may have made it a bit breezy, but the delicious soups were the perfect way to warm up.
We’re grateful to our talented local cooks who shared a wonderful variety of homemade soups and breads for everyone to enjoy. A special thank you as well to those who participated in the 50/50 raffle. The proceeds will help support future community initiatives and our upcoming Beach Ambassador Program.
Events like this are a great reminder of what makes our community so special—neighbors coming together, sharing good food, and enjoying time with one another.
ROAD SAFETY
Brush Clean Up & Tree Trimming - Help Keep the Roads Safe
Sunday, April 12, 10 a.m.
One More Time! You may have noticed the brush already trimmed along Ocean Pearl
Road. We will be doing another round of clean-up of the roads and intersections before
the busy summer season. We welcome all volunteers with trucks, trailers and tree
trimming tools. We will meet at the Carova Beach Fire Station and have a tractor to help
with some of the loading.
Unable to make it on the 12th but still want to help? You can pick up the existing
trimmings as you drive by or take a little time to clean up an intersection near you. Many
hands will make this go quickly and benefit everyone!
Beach Ambassador Program
Want to help our visitors become better stewards of our community? The Beach
Ambassador Program is looking for friendly volunteers who enjoy connecting with
people and sharing their love and knowledge of our special beach.
Ambassadors will staff information tents on the beach, welcoming visitors and providing
helpful guidance about our unique environment, local wildlife, and ways to enjoy the
area responsibly. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, support our community,
and help our visitors appreciate the natural beauty that makes this place so special.
If you’re passionate about our beach and enjoy engaging with others, we’d love to have
you join the team! We will offer training and a very flexible schedule.
